A private, on-device statement analyzer that helps people see fees and spending in their mobile money history.
Product goal
Make mobile money statement details easier to understand without asking people to grant SMS access or upload sensitive transaction histories to a server.
What I built
The Android app reads M-PESA and Airtel Money PDF statements on the device, summarizes fees and Fuliza charges, and analyzes the balance column to identify charges that are not itemized as separate rows.
Privacy and payments
The statement stays on the phone. The app does not need SMS permission or an account. Pro is a one-time purchase, using Google Play Billing on Play and M-PESA through Paystack elsewhere.
Shipped
Version 0.1.1 shipped in August 2026. The product is available through the Amazon Appstore, Huawei AppGallery, Zapstore, and direct APK, with Google Play review in progress.
